A long long time ago, when the crushing reality of 'work' hadn't yet intruded upon an idealistic young mind a great deal of time (and money) was spent on roleplaying games. King of these, for a time at least was the venerable Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying (WFRP) which secured the throne by virtue of the gritty world background and a wonderfully evocative critical hit system.
This blog, if time and mental fortitude permits, is named in honour of that system.
